I am looking into a 2003 GSXR 600 that at about 6k rpm the engine feels like it stops wanting to give power. At everything up to that point it is full power and no problem. Then at around 6k it doesn't die just struggles to go up. The owner feels that it is a valve adjustment issue and that is all that needs to be done. What does everyone else think?

Is the FI light on?
