I'm real interested in switching my bike over to HIDs but I have not actually seen a SRAD with a set of working HIDs, although I here everyone talking about it. So i was just wondering if anyone has a picture of a nice HID setup on a srad. Thanks

I don't have any while the lights are on. The bike is taken apart right now for an engine swap but here is my front end taken off. its made to fit my SRAD

made a housing for it in the back.

this is the only pic i have currently with the front end mounted but no lights.
It should be all done in about month and half.

That front end is made for new gixxers bye dynamic bikes, like for 02 models. http://www.dynamicbikes.com/suzuki.html thats the website that sells em.
they asking too much for it with the lights around $700 with shipping. I found just the upper and came with carbon fiber guage cluster holder for 80 bucks on ebay. That was over 2 years ago. The lights that they give you are shitty projector lights.
there were tons of mods i had to do and still doing to make it completly fit.

here is what i started with you can see the old holes sealed up. So had to do some trimming. also had to trim both sides equally because when i turn the handle bars my break and clutch would touch the faring and re-adjust the master break fluid container to another location.
After it was on like that then I had to find someone to make new ram tubes for it and that took a while.

After the tubes and the front end was mounted with the stock fairing stay, the next task was getting my bi-xenon projectors mounted in there. The bi-xenon projectors are longer then normal because they have solenoid in the back that moves a plate up for high beams on each projector. So i got that same guy to make me mounts for the projectors.

here are projectors mounted with the igniters. Now as you can see how long they are so i had to work the issue of enough clearance so these don't hit the tripple. I had to the braket that holds the guages off and after several tries i finally enclosed the HID's with enough room successfully. here are few shots of different things i tried http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n217/aulakh750/P1010027.jpg

none of those worked and finally this last one did

and final product
http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n217/aulakh750/P1010017-1.jpg
all the wires/high and low beam tested.
Now the next challange i face is wiring and somehow making a new bracket for the new 04 guages and that doesn't interrupt anything. I don't think that would be hard at all. Just need to get the engine swap done and put the plastics on and then just work around the space that is left.
this took me 2 years to make because one and half years i spend in the middle east with the military and heading back soon so hopefully this can be all done before i leave this time.
