Hey I am comming to Colarado springs for six weeks. How is bike theft there? I think I will be staying in a hotel there and dont want to leave my bike out in a hotel parking lot. I am probbaly gonna leave the gixxer at home and miss out on some killer riding. Any thoughts?

That all depends on where you stay in town. Like most places, there are better parts than others here. I would let you keep her in my garage, but I don't have one. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Luckily I keep mine outside and have not had any issues with theft and I live in an older part of town on the westside. I would however be more than happy to let you park it my driveway on the side of my house (behind my vehicles) during your stay if you would like. I have a storage unit that I keep my bike in. depending on what base you stay at though. Might be a long haul just to get it. Your call.

Can't think of a much better place to live and ride. That's why we stayed here when I retired from the USAF. Good riding, good hiking, good 4-wheeling, good caving, and not too many people yet!

I'm coming on a bike vacation with a few frineds to Colorado Springs Sept 2-13, I'm looking for locals to show me some twisty roads and or bike nights. Anybody up for it?

Make sure you check out the CSC at www.cosportbikeclub.org (http://www.cosportbikeclub.org) - we have a large springs group and basically the largest group of sportbike riders in the state (probably in most places, at 1500 members).
