It's all about HABITS. See, the money doesn't care how smart or how dumb you are. If The Rainman sets up a $500/month auto-draft into a mutual fund, it builds wealth just as rapidly as when Albert Einstein does the same. Someone who is "too unsophisticated" to do anything but save money in a dogged, flat-footed, unrelenting, habitual way will build wealth.

I know plenty of "wealthy" people that are dumb as a box of rocks! They just got lucky!

Interesting how he makes the point in the beginning that those who stay married tend to be wealthier. Maybe 1/2 our society will rethink divorce, not because of the problems it causes with families, but now because they can become wealthier for it. Hopefully they can start taking marriage and the responsibilities that come along with it more seriously.
