I'm new to this site. I hope you can help with an easy asnswer to a quick qusetion. Does the top triple on a 1994-1996 gsxr 1100 get installed all the way up the forks (so the clipons go under) or does the triple come down to let the clipons go on top. Not even using clipons, buying one of those "raise the bar kits". I want to be sure the forks are in the irght spot. By the way the front end is being used on my 1974z1. I know what am I doing here!!

On all 1100's the clip-ons are installed above the upper triple clamp. On the 750's they are below the clamp. The 1100 fork legs are about 1.5 inches longer to cope with this.
