2wicked 06-26-2003, 06:29 AM Looks good Mike, have you had it on a dyno yet? If so what were your #s. Also, where has the oil cooler gone? Has it been relocated behind the left fairing. I am actually in the middle of fabricating my own kits for the busa, gixxer 1000 and 750. These will be available as a stage 1, and stage 2. They will not be available till fall of this year, but they will be of sustantial savings over the other kits on the market.
Thanks, Richard http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/punk.gif
Liu Kang 06-26-2003, 07:25 AM Keep us in the loop, Rich. My 750 could use some boost, but $10K after tax/install is a tad much for the current kits. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I can sell you a battery operated fan to stick on your tail piece, and it's only $17.99. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Hi richard..thanks for the compliments..Oil cooler is gone...that is how all the HAHN kits work..the bike, even in the hot weather only runs 5-6 degrees hotter in traffic...i have a muzzy fan,and wired it into a manual switch if i really need it...yes,i had it up to don morris dyno..6/7 pounds on the gage made 224 at the wheel...what are you running for a boost gage??i need a better one than i have....bike is very driveable, has about 4000kms on it,and so far zero problems...mike
2wicked 06-27-2003, 12:43 AM I use an autometer with a peak hold feature. The peak hold is nice because while under boost the bikes are usually accellerating so hard it is tough to catch a glimpse of the boost gauge. The peak hold is basically a one way valve with a release button. So the gauge shows the maximum boost you have achieved and holds it until you press the button to release the pressure. It is a lot easier to tune the bike with the peak hold, and is a good safety measure as well. Since it holds the boost at the gauge, you know if the waste gate has stuck, as it will be at a higher then normal boost pressure on the gauge, or if the boost is low, it will also indicate this as well. I keep 2-3 of these setups in stock, price is $99 plus the taxes and shipping. Thanks, Richard
mike91 1216 06-27-2003, 05:03 AM Do you happen to know the outside diameter of the gage,do you richard??? tight for space!! thanks mike
2wicked 06-27-2003, 07:16 AM The gauge I use looks identical to yours, it is a 2" autometer, part# 3303. The peak hold is an extra feature that can be added to your gauge, you don't have to buy a gauge to get the peak hold. Thanks, Richard

Richard..one more question..Is the gage you use liquid filled...if not does the needle bounce all over the place?thanks mike
2wicked 06-29-2003, 04:39 AM The gauge I use is not liquid filled, and no, it does not bounce all over the place. I will be at the sportbike rally in Parry Sound this weekend. You can check my bike out at the dyno shootout in the fairgrounds. If you are not going I am sure we will meet up somewhere this summer. Thanks, Richard
mike91 1216 06-29-2003, 07:41 AM Richard,i wont be in parry sound, but i will be in grand bend for the bike shootout...i will find you there, and come introduce myself!!!! mike
