I am pretty sure the new 2003 bikes use LED's for backlighting the gauges but I haven't had the chance to get one open and look. So if they do use LED's, I would like to get one to take pictures, determine pricing, and make them available on my website.

I will give the first person who replies to this thread a free backlighting modification.

They must be the new style gauges from either the 650 or 1000.

They can be done in any color he/she chooses.

Note: The first person who wants to do this will be responsible for sending the gauges in. I will do the mod, and pay the return shipping. If by chance they don't use LED's I will reimburse them up to $10 for the cost of shipping them to me.

I am very interested, and I'm the first one to post up:), will it make a difference that my guage pod is messed up from my wreck? All the guages and lights still work, but the case is splitting, and it has some rash on it.
