Cuebert, thanks for the offer, but I think I will finish the licencing at the Bend. The bike is fixed and I'm ready to get at it again. Thanks, Richard
PHISH 06-11-2003, 08:03 AM Richard - What are the limitations to the Demo day? Can I demo a bike even if I still have my M2 http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/piss.gif?
2wicked 06-11-2003, 08:21 AM Some people will be allowed to ride the bikes with M1 and M2 licences but that will be at my discretion, if they seem responsible enough they will be allowed to ride. But also keep in mind that someone (possibly myself) will be riding with them. If there is any screwing around they will be stopped and can walk back to the dealership. I am not trying to be an ass about this but there are just too many liability issues at stake for this sort of ride day. Please let me know a time and what model you would like to ride and I can set it up for you. Thanks, Richard

What did you do to the bike?
Get it all fixed up?
2wicked 06-11-2003, 09:29 AM Too much torque for the chain adjusters I was using. I let the clutch out at the lights, and BANG. The axel adjuster bolt, on the chain side gave up and the wheel pulled ahead and jammed everything up. Now I have a new design that I think should support over 500ft pds ot torque. In other words I will either bust the chain or break the output shaft. I will give it another try this weekend. Thanks, Richard
GMguy 06-11-2003, 09:49 AM Is the new design called a Ford 9 inch?
2wicked 06-11-2003, 11:23 AM Not quite, but it is nice to see a GMguy acknowledge the superior make. (FORD 9") Thanks, Richard

Shouldn't you be busy selling cars or something?? http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
GMguy 06-11-2003, 05:25 PM Actually I was just leaving the shop to go pick up my new blue and white 1000 at Boyd's.
Stunaz 06-13-2003, 01:24 PM 2wicked where do we book a test ride?

2wicked 06-13-2003, 02:42 PM You can email me direct at boyds@wightman.ca or call me at 1-519-291-2171. We will have a 1000 gixxer and an SV 1000, but not a 750. Thanks, Richard
