So, as probably most of you know already I had a fairly ugly crash during my race weekend about 2 weeks ago now.

Id call it a small highside, of which, the majority took place in the dirt/grass. I was probably doing 90-100mph at the time. I ended up with a broken arm that need surgery and I knocked myself out for 4mins at the scene.

So far it looks like the following will need to be replaced or repaired:

bodywork
fairing stay
dent in tank
windscreen
exhaust can & mid-pipe (headers were unscathed)
sub-frame
rear wheel ding (luckily I have an extra already)
XT lap timer

Anyway, below is a before and several after pics of the damage..

BEFORE

In all honesty I got pretty lucky as far as the damage goes...it couldve been alot mor substantial.

Those subframes on k3-k4 are cracking very easely, but they are not very expensive...I had my experience on that a few months ago...:(:(:(
Don't worry , since you are ok everything will be fixed!!!:cheers:cheers

Things are already being lined up to get her fixed and back on the track. If things go as I hope, the bike will be ready to go before I am.

I have no idea how much, if any, rehab Im looking at with my arm. So far things seem to be going well.

Might be tha angle of the pic, but the front wheel looks awful close to the rad. Sure the forks/neck is okay?

Can looks fine, midpipe is screwed. For a trackbike I'd just polish up the can. A few nicks and scratches don't affect the function.

Good luck healing up.

Hey Easy,
Its good that your doing well. Its weird when I highsided last aug I bent my key a little also.

I'm still trying to find my spare windscreen.

Take it easy man.

Not too bad at all and I agree that the can is fine.

However, when you go to buy a fairing stay, get yourself a Morse.

Yep, thats the plan. I wouldve done that originally but I had already bought the vortex stay. I wont be making that mistake again, what a POS that thing was.

I think it's just the angle of the pic.... I'm gonna check the forks to make sure but I'm 99% sure they are fine.

The right clip-on rotated back towards the frame... I set them back straight as soon as we pulled it off the crash truck. The reservoir was also pushed down but that was it. I believe the bike rolled over upside down and flattened the key and res a bit.

The can inlet is oval now so it's not going to fit on a new mid pipe without being repaired/replaced.

Sorry to hear...could-of been worse! Hope you're back in the saddle soon.

The bike isn't in as bad as it could have been...at least it didn't cartwheel end over end until it ended up in 3 pieces.

Well...seeing how I knocked myself unconscious for several minutes I honestly have no recollection as to what happend.

Everything from the green flag to the point of me coming to inside the ambulance is a total blur. It would be pure speculation on my part to 'say' what happened.

That being said....my guess is I got a little overzealous with my pass and went into the corner hot, ran out of track, and off I went.

The entrance to this particular corner has you diving off the 'nascar' front straight (ie: read banking) Needless to say, youre doing well over 100mph as you enter the corner. I vaugely recall scrubbing off some speed...but not alot.

If you call Yosh, you might be able to get JUST the inlet cap... or spend some time massaging the inlet... I personally wouldnt replace it.

The inlet cap is also part of the baffle (welded together)..... and they are very proud of their Ti baffles.

Hey, is your ignition good? Like can you still turn the key and stuff (if you've had a chance to check) I had a key bend in mine and I'm trying to find out if it'll be okay or not. I've fanagled the key out.
