I was wondering if anyone can help me out here. I have recently picked up a 02' SV650 and installed a full akrapovic system. It seems like it really needs to be re-jetted and if does any any suggestions. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Does Desnorkel the air filter mean.....raise the tank for more air?

I would have a problem there.....since i have a standard SV with the raise bars (not clip-ons) and have a Scotts damper mounted, I cannot raise my tank due to the bracket.

If I am not able to raise my tank.....what would be the correct jetting for that?

Also, Factory Pro sells jet kits in stages.....any recommendations.

Desnorkling the filter means cutting the tube out of the fir filter, go to www.svrider.com (http://www.svrider.com) and look under the 'tips and tricks' section. You do not have to raise the tank.

as for the jet kit, either spend $100 on a stage one kit, or $10 for 147.5 mains, 17.5 pilots and 2 shims under the needle. Again, details are on svrider.
