ave got a 2001 k1 am getting a can for it but i wont to get rid of the bloody standard black exhaust that goes into the can.(not the whole exhaust ) my friend says some companies make a slip on pipe that joins on and fits from the aftermarket can to where the exhaust runs to the pan(where its hidden , what make of cans do this.

you could buy MCN this week they are doing an end can supplement thing, the down pipe -you could just polish it up to lose the black if you wanted

I polished my origional black mid pipe and it looked great! But then it started turning brown and then started to rust after a short time. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
So you have 2 choises, get a mid pipe from a 2002 as they are polished OR get a slip-on that comes with a mid pipe. Not sure about your laws overthere as far as loudness or TUV apporved crap, but M4 is a great buy AND you get a Titanium mid pipe. Yoshimura also has some really nice slip-ons as well as TiForce! I personaly wouldnt get a bolt-on, (just the end can) getting a slipon is the way to go! http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

try to get a genuine mid-pipe from a K2 model, they're the titainium ones that turn blue and purple after a good thrashing, looks cool as f**k

I was kinda curious about this 'cause I've seen some brand new Gixxers (750 & 1k) with the polished midpipe. I thought this may be an optional http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

the pipe was polished from the k2 model....prior to that it was matt black
