What are some nice rides in the seattle area that aren't too long?

Mount Rainier is the best ride you will find in the state (I know its not a short ride but its sooo worth it--tons of twisties and inclines)..Next nice weekend try it out.

I was looking around on googlemaps and thought that rainier would be a good bet... its a little ways away but anything decent seems to be at least an hour away from the city. i wanted to get a few people together to do a weekend day ride down to rainier. i have two buddies with r6s that would go.

Went around Rainier on Memorial Day. Over white pass was fabulous with lots of high speed sweepers, but most of the rest had lots of traffic and speed traps. The cops were out in force and lots of bikes got popped. After White Pass, we took HWY 12 to 410 just West of Naches and back.

Another good twisty ride is going into Mt. Saint Helens to the Eastern viewpoint. And from there South to Carson along Wind River Rd is to die for.

I lived in Seattle for 10 years so I will throw in a few suggestions...they arent very quick trips but would be awesome full day or weekend overnighters....Hwy101 out to the olympic peninsula would be killer, stop by a place in discovery bay called fat shmittys burgers, also hwy2 towards leavenworth would be pretty fun...on the east side of king county theres tons of riding...out by fall city and carnation, even some nice little roads near north bend....and if you ride on the east side, finish off your day of riding at XXX burgers, its awesome, very biker friendly
