I'm a new rider, just recently got my m2. I'm looking to buy an 03' gixxer600, what insurance companies do you recommend?

You really should check out the insurance companies rates before you buy anything, some people scrape enough to get the bike and end up looking at $3000 / yr for insurance.

But you can look at State Farm or Primum or just get ahold of a bunch of different agents, that way you will cover most all the companies out there.

You can do some on-line quote stuff with different bikes to see how they fall on they scale as well.

If you are only insuring a motorcycle, you have 1 option: Primmum.

There's one other place that would insure you, but they are theives (jefco or something like that...)

If you have a car to insure with it, State Farm is the way to go -- but they require you to insure both vehicles with them.

With you lack of experience, you'll be paying a lot for that bike... good luck.
