is it normal ..coming up to a stop ...droping down to nutral still rolling 5/10 MPH ....clutch in ..gears wont mesh...right away..down to first ...G.

Match your revs when going into first. You still have internal parts moving and at different speeds-that's why your having trouble putting it in gear at a dead stop. We older riders call this rev matching and before slipper clutches, it was something that you had to do to keep from locking up the rear, now it's kind of a lost art, but for situations like this it is still important to learn.
Blip the throttle just as your pulling in the clutch then down shift. Not only does this make a smooth transfer from one gear to another (down shifting) it sounds cool too.

your right ...I was a little shy ..I have a two bro;s stubby ... I dident want to freak uot cars when i rolled up to them......making unnessary noise .....well to bad now:biggrin

why are you down shiffting to first.
I understand the other gears but not first??
I never do this due to the Gear Ratio.
If the light changes I just take off in second unless I am completly stopped IMO this is the way to do it..
