Ok, first off, sorry if this is technically the wrong section.
That said, I have a 1995 Yamaha YZ125, and it runs like crap. I'm fairly certain the thing needs a rejetting and just a good ol tuneup, but frankly my experience in tuning carbs is limited, my experience dealing w/ two strokes is non-existent, and my experience with dirt bikes in general? Heh, we won't go there.
I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation on a shop, or a repair guy that does work on the side, if theres mechanical work to be done (rebuild motor, etc etc) I can do that, but I need someone who can tune the bike and get it running right. Anyone got any recomendations?
Thanks

I work at Grand Prix motorsports and work with a bunch of people that are good with any dirtbikes. You might want to stop by and talk to some of the people I work with.

No offense (cause I really like Grand Prix) but I'm a poor college student and cant afford it.
I'm taking my bike to a shop tomorrow and paying $90, that includes jets. I think I was quoted $85 an hour at Grand Prix, not including the new jets.

I was gonna see If I could set you up with one of the guys that I work with.
Its all good man Im not trying to get my company business, Im just trying to help out a local GDC member.
I dont take offence because I have never had Grand Prix work on my bike nor do I plan on them working on my bike.
TK/Faster are the only guys that work on my shit, and thats only when Im there to watch.

I hear that, frankly I'm taking it to a no name shop, but their mechanic is supposedly a two stroke racer so I'll give it a shot.
At this point I may even sell the dirt bike honestly, I don't ride it much (well, if I could, ie the thing ran) and I'm trying to get another BMX bike setup cause I miss the one I had back in Florida. Who knows, I just want the damned thing running haha.
Appreciate the offer though!
