i, like most other, like to watch squid/crash videos, mainly so i DON'T get myself into those situations.

common one i've seen is steering wobble. now this looks like it can happen to anyone and anywhere. what causes it, and does the stock damper help enough?

i've never had a problem on my '99 kan-o-tuna, but the gsxr is lighter.

The stock damper helps unless you're in an all out race.
Any type of riding that lightens the front end will cause a little bit of wobble. The best way to cure the situation is to keep your hands as relaxed and light on the bars as possible.

like av said hard acceleration where the front wheel is just skimming the ground will cause "headshake" or a "tank slapper". hard acceleration over bumpy or uneven ground will cause it also. ive only experienced it a few times on the street and the stock damper on my 03 dealt with it pretty well. :)
