ericgsxr 05-30-2003, 08:55 PM A group of us left Greenville on Wed. at 5:30 to show up and represent at this cruise-in, about 1/2 way there this really rediculous wind, (50+ mph) started hitting us sideways, we ran back home, figuring we'd be the only ones there. We'll try again for next Wed 4th of June. Who's going to be there?

I already e-mailed my group and said this one was a wash. I don't want to drag anybody down there and end up with a poor turn-out due to bad weather, and then the group not want to return. we'll get a nice day one of these dayz...
KFRacing 06-11-2003, 06:23 PM WOW even with the slight drizzle from 7-8 still HUGE turn out. I heard the entry counter guy say that at 7 (when drizzle started) they already had 254 bikes. I would say maybe 100 + more came after 7. CAN NOT WAIT UNTIL A NICE CLEAR DAY!!!!

KFRacing 06-12-2003, 03:56 AM Eric,
Take 70 West, 675 south, Take the Grange Hall exit. Take a right on Grange Hall. Turn right on Col Glen Hwy. Turn right into the road leading to Home Depot. You will see the Lube when you pull in. It is about 20 Min from Compition Acc. (if you do not speed).
Ja http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/squid.gif
budlightnmyhand 06-12-2003, 08:17 AM I'm new to this website but i was looking on here for people to ride with in Amherst, Ohio. They have a quaker steak and lube about 10 min away from my house in Elyria, Oh also that does bike night on wednesday. I went there one time before i got my '03 GSX-R 600 40th anniversary and all i saw there was Hogs. There were maybe 10 street bikes so i left. I would like to get a bunch of street bikes to go there from my area this wednesday coming up june 18th, 2003. Email me at dui4me@budweiser.com if you would like to go or just ride sometime. None of my friends have bikes so i usually ride by myself http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Thanks

Thanks, I printed it out. It's nice to have something in writting to follow when you are riding to something that is a little ways away.
KFRacing 06-14-2003, 06:55 AM Eric, are you closer to indiana or colombus? The greenville I showed on mapquest put you in the colombus area. I looked to see where Darke is and that is near Indiana. If so I have different directions for you.

Greenville Ohio is about 25 minutes from Richmond Indiana. Columbus on the other hand, we have to circle the earth twice to get to Columbus.

KFRacing 06-15-2003, 06:13 AM Eric got that tank bag with handy map holder ready.
70 or 75 (your choice) eventually get on 75 south.
Stay in the Far left lane and take the Rt 4 exit. Left hand exit.
Next take the Harshman Rd. Exit.
Turn Right on Harshman.
At the intersection with Mcdonalds, Wendys Turn Left on Col Glen Hwy.
You will see the Meijer on the left. Home Depot and the Lube are directlly after that on the left.
I do usually have my cell when I go. feel free to call

Yep! As I said...
It was nice meeting you. Thanks for riding back part way with us. By the time we got back to Greenville the sun was a little lower, and it was finally a little cooler out, so we rode around town for a few more hours.
We have found a nice backroute that keeps us off the interstate and only adds 5-10 minutes total trip time.
We need to get together and find a nice back rode to bang out some wheelies.
KFRacing 06-26-2003, 12:56 AM I think there is a private flightline (runway) in the Englewood/Union area. Standard Brady found it one day 2 yrs ago. Now all we need to do re-find it. I do know you guys have some good twisties up there. My father in law used to race SCCA up there somewhere. I need to ask him exactlly where. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
Glad to see more street bikes there too!!!

Soon, we'll meet at Bud's, I'll post up on it when it's getting close.
If your are going to go to it you might as well get in it. It's a great way to get better at wheelies and stopies without having to worry about tickets.
One ticket would cost more then the entrance fee. There will be riders there of all caliber.
ericgsxr 07-06-2003, 11:49 PM Well, stuntfest was great...

Here's the video. Sly was really cool. I'll probably hook him up with a site on my site in the near future.
