Here is a pic of the little RG200 I traded off for an '85 GSXR 750 a few days before Christmas. Japan only model made only one year, 195cc single, six speed.... it was plenty of fun going through it.

200? Didn't even know they were ever made in that size :scratch And it has a single front rotor and exhaust like the 125 :scratch Is it a single-cyl? Hard to see from that angle. And what year is it? Nice bike nonetheless :D

Yea, I got that... aaallloootttt! 1992 RG200FN Gamma, single cyl, 30mm Mikuni flat slide, water cooled, 6 speed, EBC Prolite ft rotor, 6 piston Tokico , 39mm usd forks, 270lbs, powder coated frame and wheels. Frame and bodywork same as the 125cc bike, just a bit more engine w/ 35hp.
The rest of the world (Europe) got the 200 Wolf version (std forks and no ft fairing) the RG was Japan only. She has gone now.......:sad

Denmark eh ? my family came from there ..... in 1842! Tim

But... why? Why would you trade such a machine for a GSXR 750? It's just... so... beautiful... (weeps)

Thanks for the complements...... I'm glad someone liked my work.

I had three years with her..... went through it one end to the other.... time for her to go to someone new. Plus, I'm a ways away from any good riding roads. The poor little 2stroker would just get a putt about town.... no real use.

The '85 is a rare bird too.... w/ 75 more HP...... and it can take me to where the good roads are.
Plus it's the one bike I've always wanted, that or a CBX..........

A CBX?? wow, that is different!I used to own a KZ 1300.Remeber those??Yes that 200 was sweet. I am working on importing a pre 90 gsxr 400 myself. Through a friends bike shop. Did you know that they have the same hp to weight ratio as the 1st gen 750's??Yup, it's true!! And your 85 is sooo sweeet too Big E. Nice rides.

When I got the 200 from Japan... I also got an '86 GSXR400, the ugly one with the square headlight! Sold it off a few months later for vet bills (Wifes cat) ....:hammer
The '86 400 had like 53hp and around 300lbs.... <----- memory not fact! I think the later GK73? were much better machines than the GK71 was... oil and water cooled.

KZ1300 thats a big bunch of metal ... :punk

Yeah but,you have to rev the dogpiss outta that 400 in order to get that 50hp.Only good for a sunday mornin bike imo, specially if your over 200lbs

86-90 they had 59hp@12,000 rpm..334lbs. That's less revs than a newer 600 by far.they dropped to 53hp and went up to 367lbs in 91.And they accept all the same mods as their big brothers. You can get 70 hp easy. I want it to ride to work everyday. 100mi round trip. That puts lots of miles on the big gixxers.Want to save them for the good rides. Use the 400 for the daily beater.Save gas too.
