which newer year motors will bolt into a 2001 GSXR 1000?

Heres 's the answer to my own question. I know for a fact that you can use up to an 04, any years after that Im not sure. If you use an 03 or 04 you have to use the same EDU (and the wire harness if different). Now if you dont have the EDU, you have to change the 32 tooth wheel on(04') the crank to the tooth 16(from the 02')wheel. Basically you need the old crank. If the crank from the 01' is still in spec, then you could just put that crank in the 04' motor.
