Lets MoT the bike now the insurance co has sent me a cheque to cover the damage to the bike (2750 quid http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif)

It's Saturday and off i go. On the way i was about half a mile away on Raliegh Island and the front starts to feels funny. Then funnier then i realise what happening. Rear flat tyre http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

I Call two wheel centre "I'm booked in for an MoT in 1minute mate but....." they are good lads and came down in their van and picked me up (for nothing).

"Can't repair that mate. Only 2mm of tread left..." So off i go to Twistgrip 50 yards up the road for a new M1 Metzeler rear. 152 quid later done.

MoT time. FAIL. Front pads low. Another 50 quid for EBC HH gold fronts. All brake lines corroded - called Hel and ordered some stainless setups (front and rear) for 65 quid delivered.

Also there bitching about no rear reflector fitted (Halfords for that).

So... 152+50+65=267quid plus the 14 quid for the MoT = 281 pounds for an MoT.

Excellent http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Those that know me and my luck will say that's about right for me http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
