Whats up Guys. Well I finally pieced my bike together after purchasing it wrecked from South Carolina. The bike turned out great and now i need to get it safety inspected so I can get it titled in georgia. So what I ended up doing with the under tray is cutting of the fender with the license plate bracket. Im going to make a custom bracket but I need to reuse the stock light at this time i dont have the money to get a nice undertail for it. One of my rear turn signals was broken and now I have no way to mount the stock turning lights back on it. Will this mod http://www.sportbikes.net/articles/sbnsignal.pdf work to pass a safety inspection? with the break light doing double duty as a break light and a turning signal light?

You probably should've placed this in the mods and how to section, and you'd have got some more responses. I guess you're wondering about GA requirements though. I believe the rule books only state that you the signals have to work, not be independent from your tail-lights. They'll want to be sure that you can see them from the back and sides, so I wouldn't use LED's. Go to Bugman's site - he's got some good info on integrating turn signals.

Also keep in mind that it's required to have lighting for your license plate. The stock fender usually houses that lighting. Im not positive for the Gixxers but just keep in mind if you remove your stock parts, they might look for the lighting during the inspection.
