just wondering about how much it should cost to get the fork seals replaced on an 02 1k gixx figure i should get it done soon oil is leaking from the tubes. thanks for any help.

just make sure they do it right...i had a shop do mine and they leaked the first ride...i used nothing but suzuki stuff too...i figured that they probably just overfilled them

I just had one fork on my 03 fixed. I think the oil and dust seals were like 41.xx and they charged me 195.00 for labor.

Damn! the guy here in town will do both forks for $120 + parts. That's about what the local shop charges if you bring them the forks. They charge $70 more if they have to remove the forks.

need to correct why the seal is leaking. is the fork tube nicked up from ham fisted wheelies? if so, you will just tear up new seals unless you get the legs repaired as well
