i bought these lowering links but am still weary of installing them. i fit ok on the bike but it would be nice to have it a little lower..im like 5"3 a short ass..will that have a severe effect on how it handles in the corners? im not racing the bike..just street riding..

any type of lowerin will affect the handling.....someone did a mod awhile ago where they removed like 1.5" of cushion from the seat.... as far as lowering, i think u can lower about .5" to an 1" safely before that handling really gets fucked up...but don't quote me on that

My last bike was a '03 GSXR 750 and I had it lowered 2-3" in the rear and the front stock. I could still hit the corners with it and for everyday street riding, made it alot more livable for my 5'6" frame. You will be fine with it lowered for street riding. Now, if you plan on hitting any trackdays then you might want to look into another option.

I lowered my 750Y 2" front & back, u wouldnt want to lower it more, be sure to lower both ends as the bikes geometry will get messed up if you dont.

The experts say not to play around with the height of the suspension but if you must dont exceed 1.5".
