This morning right by the university hospital a honda got hit or hit someone and the rider was killed. I ride with alot of guys around charlotte and i wanted to know if anyone has heard who it was? All i know is that the bike was destroyed and the guy had no gear on at all. It was in rush hour on Harris or N. Tryon. Im from charlotte and I also heard about that but dont know who it was. I used to live in the University Area off Harris Blvd. So how often do you ride and where do you ride I may have rode with you before. I live off mallard creek and i ride all the time. I usually post from school after riding up here. I have a blue telefonica so if you ever see one with a micron slip on its probably me. The other 3 teles in the area have been destroyed and i have not seen another in about 4 months http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think I saw you last week. I was up seeing my fiancee at UNCC, and saw a Telefonica gixxer. Nice bike. IM going to be moving up to the UNCC area in august, I just got accepted into UNCC for the fall. Too bad that I probably still wont have a bike by then.

Just to let everony know...the guy was riding a new charcoal colored 954 and this is the best that i can figure as to what happaned to him. He was young and had been married about 3 months. He was riding with a brainbowl on (why the hell anyone on earth would do that is beyond me) For what i know..he was already in the grass as he was coming up on a car turning right in front of him. He either hit the car or avoided and highsideed over the car. The bike took out a piece of the curb right in front of the ER at the hospital. Ironically he was in such serious condition they had to take him downtown so even though it was right in front of an ER he still had quite a ride before he got to the hospital. The lady that he hit/cut him off was a nurse and she was first there to help him. She said it was hard to tell if he was even a person...i think he landed on his face. He went into a coma and never came out. He underwent brain surgery to remove some of his brain to reduce the pressure induced from its swelling. He died a few days after the wreck. Pretty sad story...I am not sure if i ever rode with him..PLEASE wear your gear if your going to ride...he would probably he out of the hospital by now if he had. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
