So got the bike registered in my name today. I bought back in December from California & the registrations not going to expire until next month. Figured I should make it an official Az. bike and get the title trasfered over. So anyways thought they were going to hit me with a huge penalty for not switching it over to my name right away. The chic at the counter was kinda a cute (I know thats odd for the DMV) But she didn't charge me any penalties just $111.00 out the door with a new title and plate in hand. Also for the inspection all they did was make sure all the vins matched up. Didn't even bother to check brake lights, blinkers, lic plate light etc...So I'm stoked!!
Also the guy from More power racing called he's shipping my power commander today & he asked if I wanted it mapped. I said hell yeah! So it should be ready to install when it gets here. It's been a good day & just wanted to share it with ya'll. Might be able to make a Sunday ride with you guys this weekend, depending on how much of this landscaping I can knock out Saturday.

Hey Newb - More Power Racing is a good company, but keep in mind the map is an internet map but it will be better than having nothing at all. A custom map would be nice but I cannot remember what work you have done or if you have any at all to know if it is worth paying $200-250 to have done. I got all my parts from them.

I have the full yosh exhaust & then just the K & N. He asked me what I had when he called this morning, so I got the impression he was goinbg to custom map it. Do you think that will be suitable or should I take it else where.

they have "generic maps that should work ok for you however, to get the full potential on any bike it has to have a custom map actually done on it, the generic map that he loads should work fine but if you want the best possible layout for yours you have to bring your bike in and they tune it.

They provided me a internet map (generic from Yosh) for my bike when I bought my exhaust system and PC. My bike's Air/Fuel ratio was all over the place when it hit the dyno the first time. The maps that they program the pC with are better than having nothing but my bike was very lean at some rpm's and very fat at others. ECS did a custom map and picked up an additional 6hp and 1.5lbs of torque over the generic map they had loaded for me.

Loms, that sounds like a big differnece. I'll just head over to that shop Brazil mentioned when it gets here. No sense of having it done half ass. Hopefully by this time next week it will in. Thanks again man...

Ya, Mark does an excellent job up there. Its $250 for the custom map. They put another 12 HP on my bike... and that's just a slip on and stock air filter.
