: New Gixxer Girl

After years of being a passenger on the back of my hubby's bike, I finally got my own. I officially became a Gixxer owner 10/7/06.
I am taking the MSF course this week and will have my endorsement by next week.

I am a new owner myself. Got a black and silver 600. I take the course in 2 weeks. I am excited. always a passenger... don't get me wrong, it's fun... but the I want to drive so I don't have to depend on my B/F to take me for a ride. :cheers

There a quite a few of us newbies. I got my gixxer about 2 months ago, I completely understand what you are saying about loving it. All I want to do is ride when I am not at work. I was caught off guard a little bit by how many female sportbike riders there are, I love it!!!

Mazda 10-25-2006, 06:04 AM Good for you on getting a Gixxer and passing your course. I'm a UK girl, bought a Gixxer 750 in August as my B/F was always raving about them. I'd never even been on the back of one then!!! Quickly did an intensive course and passed on 5 September. Can't believe how easily I got into it and how much I love going out on my bike now. It's great to see so many other female Gixxer lovers.
