ok, burned my video to DVD. I tried to upload to photobucket, but it said the video extension wont work. The extension is .vob. How do I convert to .mpeg?

you should just leave the vid in the format you recorded too. They only allow .mov or .wmv vids on photobucket. DVD format is only for DVD's.

did you try just uploading your video onto your computer w/o burning it onto the dvd first? that is what i would do

photobucket says it accepts mpeg and a few other video formats also....

No I burned it straight to DVD on my entertainment system, then tried to upload off of the DVD... Its a Digital 8 video tape, so I would have to get the tape to the spot I want to upload and press play i guess. not sure how else to upload directly off my camera.

your camera should have came wit a cable that connected from your camera to a usb port on your computer and then you should be able to upload it just like any mp3 player or camera

What im gonna do is record it from my tape to the memory stick. Then I might be able to upload the file from my memory stick. Give me 10 minutes or so. I will let you know.

In the meantime, you can see a brief clip of it here.

Ya, no problem. I got all 5 up now. In numerical order, it was our last run all the way out, minus a few slow spots. I can burn you the whole trip on DVD the way it is. Im also gonna try to find some music and make a brand new DVD with a sound track.. might take some time to find cool music though.

Looks like you almost scraped it on the pavement a couple times. That last clip was making me sick/dizzy so I had to turn it off. Now if only my camera mount would show up. :mad:crying:p

looks good man. you ever been to jerome?

I got the mount at sportbikecam.com I bought he 8" extension so I can video forwards as well as backwards.

Ive been to Jerome a couple times. I like the twisties, but the pavement sucks. Not real smooth.

Andy, we were thinking that I may need to get a frame slider for my camera...

plus the road to Jerome is always busy on the weekends and the pigs like to patrol back there like crazy.

LOL on the camera frame slider. I ordered a front mount from them after watching the vids.

That shit was sick Brazil! Seriously on those sharp lefts I thought you were going to peel that camera right off the bike. Sweet spot to mount it dude!

Well, part of it may be optical illusion. But I am much more confident in the tight twisties than i am on wide sweepers so I can lean a bit more. Even moreso on the left since its my better side. Im gonna change the angle just a bit the next time. I think it can be better.

Looks good Brazil - I will have to check it out on our next ride. I have been thinking about getting a cam mount, but I think I want a tank mount or a helmet mount.

Ya, i would have bought a tank mount but I like my black windscreen. So that wont work for me.

Looks great Brazil. I would think the front mount would be awesome but agree that the tinted shield inhibits doing so. Might have to change out the shield just for the camera though.... Dammit, going to have to buy a vid camera now... love those videos.

I got my front mount tonight but I need to find a shorter screw for the camera. I'll post up a ride to work vid if I can get it done tomorrow.

Im making the new DVD of the ride with a soundtrack behind it. Also I think changing the angle on the camera a bit and playing with the zoom will improve the shot. Will take a bit of practice to get it right.
