seems there always has to be something wrong with the bike...i just got it back not too long ago from getting a 2nd motor put in from an 02, ever since ive noticed the front brakes howl when i come to a stop. its not a squeak, but more of a howling, and it starts to do it as the bike comes to a stop. i can yank on the brake at 50mph and it wont start howling until im almost to a stop < 10mph. then it just starts sounding like the brakes are gonna fly apart. everything looks tight, and the guy putting the motor in didn't touch the brakes. but...the shop before him put on new ebc pads just prior to the motor going. pads might have 50 miles on them. do you think the pads could've been installed wrong or is it a noise telling me its time for new rotors. rotors have ~11,000 miles on them.
thanks everyone.
