My speedo is off. and I mean way off.

Me and my buddy were trying to fix it with the "speedo Healer" but that didn't work.

I was riding next to him when he was going 60mph (mine showed 30mph)
he then went 80mph (mine 40mph) so it shows half the speed I am actually going.



Could it be a speed sensor? is so, how much are those?

ok. back to the problem again.


I fixed everything. Both sprockets, chain, speed sensor, and the peice that spins on the front sprocket (don't know the name) and got a speedo healer.
Everything worked. I was actually able to see how fast I was actually going.

So I take the bike out. cruise 15-20 miles. and stop to meet up with a buddy. we sit around for about 1/2 hour, and then get back on the bikes. at this time I notice............... My dam speedo don't work. I check the sensor, and that peice I don't know the name of. both are fine. I then got a test lite to see if it gets power there. So I disconnect the speed sensor pigtail. and it shows to have power coming in. SO the speed sensor has power.

What else can I try to fix this issue????
