Myself and a couple of buddies are planning a ride from Milwaukee, WI. We are looking at going to Minnesota area. I guess we want to keep it below 600miles one way. Everybody in my group has a area to research and I have Minn. What is going on in Minn. that time of the year. Where is some good places to check out on the bikes. a real good spot to hit is the St Croix river area near Winona and Lacrosse. Lot's of good views of the river and twisty roads. As far as main roads go, 35 on the WI side is good. If you get off on the "Alphabet Roads" from 35 I'm sure you'll enjoy it. It's been a long time since I've been down in that area (last OCT) so I can't remember what roads exactly, but just do some exploring. You should also check out MN hwy 60. If you're interested in hwy 60, I can be of some assistance. give me an idea of how far you would want to ride once you get to Winona and I'll map out a suggested route for you.
