Don't really know I started in that area but kinda fell away from that section a lot of nonsence arguing IMO atleast when I was checking in on there thats what it seemed like.

Also with every new model of bike that comes out a whole new breed of squids seem to come out of the woodwork

But now that those riders (for the most part) have a year or two, the threads have gotten a little more normal.

For fucks sake. '06 750, first bike, and the threads are all like "how do you install neons?" "which dealership should I take my bike to for an oil change?" "lets see pictures of your wheelies"

Yeah I have seen the 750 new bike I think that is just nuts but what can ya do there will always be squids. My fav has to be the wheelie argues, it's rare that I get anything usefull from that section but there are guys in there that aren't in the:squid catagory. The way I see it is most squids will dissapear never to be heard from again on this site or they will take advice and become posters who will eventually get respect, but there are always the select few that insist there squid ways are right and never back down from and internet arguement :biggrin :biggrin :lol :lol :lol

PS My alltime fav is when people not just on the internet but in person too see someone on a new bike and ssume that it's their first time riding and that they don't know anything.

i don't mind them on the 'net they are harmless here. its riding with them i won't do. squirrely kids will get you killed (usually themselves first). i must say this though, those people that don't like squids on the 'net need to get out and ride more b/c those squids are posting up stories of their recent rides, lets be an example, show them how its supposed to be.

Whoopdie doo." So I didn't click it. But it stayed at the top for a while with a lot of replies so I figured I'd see what the fuss was about. I don't know if I should laugh or cry.:scratch

That is a great example and I usually just ignore the squid stories but when I read some I get a good laugh like I said before I feel that most will either disapear never to be heard from on the site, and some will take advice and become respectable posters maybe.

I have nothing wrong with the 06 section as a whole you do get usefull stuff from some people once in a while just too many squid posts in between.

that is why i only go to forums that are 3 years old, and totally stay out of the 1k section, unless of course i fell like screwing with some squids :lol

i took mine to 165 by the tach and my buddy got his over 170 by tach
