Hi guys...I've got a 2004 1000 that I got last summer with about 2000 miles on it., now about 9500 miles. It had a micron half exhaust (no SET) when I got it. I added KandN filter and smart TRE. It has always had a rough idle, and a stumble coming of idle when reving, makes it a pain to match revs when downshifting, (it missfilres and hesitates when I blip the gas to match revs).
I got a PCIII, and had it custom mapped. NO problem with power, 155 HP at the wheel after the dyno runs. The tuner claimed he sync'ed the throttles for me too.
But....still has the rough idle and stumbles when reving.
Dealer no help so far (you've got a bad PC!).
Should I get a throttle synchronizer and do it myself? Other ideas?

Sounds to me like its way too rich... when you crack the throttle off idle it stumbles before it goes up... Thats fuel...

definately sounds like fuel. also check you ignition (spark plugs,and wires etc) and if time permits would definately check to make sure it idles where is should(about 1100-1200 rpm) maybe just for your piece of mind check the throttle bodies again. I synced my throttle bodies and it purred like a kitten. good luck.
