Hiya And'

Yeah, the TL's got me by my spuds mate! Rode one a couple of weeks back. Got to have a twin... and it's got to be a Suzuki.

Looked at the SV, but it's a bit on the soft side for me. If I was going to go the half naked route, I'd go for a TL-S. Hehehe http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Good to hear from you mate, how'a your ol' girl?

thanks for that, I love you too.

by the way, this weekend is my first time out on that FZR400 I bought a while back. going to go for a spin round darley moor and see how many championship contenders i can take out at the first corner when i lowside it tipping in on cold tyres.
bikes still in a little to many pieces at the moment as my girlfriend has been dutifully respraying the tank and fairing for me. at least i'll be the best dressed squid out there if nothing else http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/squid.gif

it's not bad is it, although fingers crossed for decent weather on sunday. i've got a set of wet tyres but no spare set of wheels. i do however have two big fuck off crowbars and i'm prepared to use em if necessary, but i'd rather not.

when you say a couple of weeks for you, do you mean out racing or sorting the 1100 out?

I love Darley Moor. It's like the Arctic only closer. Even in summer in hot sunshine it's fucking cold.Nice easy tolearn circuit though, it's a triangle with a chicane on 2 of the sides. Watch out for that hairpin, it's a killer http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Just getting the old dog on the road....... reckon if I can find a GSXR fuel tap I'm sorted http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif. I'll buy some 'gasket paper' to make some new for those nice shiny casings........fook me they want £25 for 3 gaskets at Suzuki http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif..................... then were done .so it will rain no doubt.......

£25 is not too high a price to get out on the road though is it? Nice looking bike you have there, but why no fairing lowers?

shitty fucking twatty cunting yamahas.

as you can probably tell my plan to become supreme champion of racing has somewhat hit a snag. won't even be doing the racing tomorrow as i didn't even get through practice today.

bike is pissing oil something rotten. head gasket is one major source but theres also a couple of cracks in the engine lower down near the sump.
not happy. oh well geuss it's time to price up a gasket set and welding work or ring Blacks or west coast and see if they've got an FZR engine kicking around.

Arse!

Of course a 600 motor fit's in there nicely and they won't measure your bores until you piss off an old hand (top 3 finish) by which time you'll want to move up a class anyway http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

We ran an 86 TZ250 in Formula 400 at Darley for 2 seasons (it had a lot of TZR250 chassis parts on it, so we figured it was more of a street bike than GP bike) and until we beat the guys running FZR400's (with 600 motors) and RGV300's no one said a word.
