for my 03 gsx600 ?? I have just purchased a RK quick conversion kit to convert it from a 525 chain to a 520 chain. the kit drops the front sprocket a tooth (from the stock 16 to a 15) yet i think the back sprocket stays the same. I want to go to a 47 tooth in the back but the chain and sprockeys are getting put on tomorrow morning so the 47 tooth will have tp wait for a week or so. Would it hurt the chain at all if I put the 45 tooth on for now and then the 47 tooth later ?? Is this the best combo ??

wrong area to post, but i happen to see it....
fyi - BEST sprocket combo is entirely up to you. it has NOTHING to do with someone else has.
it won't matter to put the 47 on later if they use the same amount of links that they have when its stock. the +2 may not fit if they use a smaller chain. the -1 +2 fits the stock chain length. why don't you just use the -1 for now and see what you think.
what you should do is sign up for a track day at Barber instead. then worry about things like gearing.

Vortex makes nice sprockets, and i would start with -1 up front and if your not satisfied with that then +2 in the back
