damn. Now thats what I'm talkin about.

Ok anyone know whats been done to that bike to get those times??You're not going to believe it but , it's a basicly stock motor (stock bore & stock stroke)with a BIG dry shot on it. Lee has been develping this dry kit for a couple years now.

Damn, thats gotta be one hell of a shot of nitrous. Impressive none-the-less.

Knew he had to be using some form of power adder to get those numbers.

EZ way

I want to know more about this kit! To run that kind of mph he must be running about 300 rwhp I'd imagine. Looks like he is also running a huge bottle in that swingarm! 5 or 10lb'er??:eek

It's around 150HP shot DRY! Lee's a mad scientist(sp), we all know that.

Yeah,Lee's been talking about that huge dryshot for awhile now,he was trying to work out a few bugs that kept creeping up.I'd have to say he got it figured out!!!

That bike will be even faster very soon......

Last time i spoke to him about this bike,he said he was running same set up as last year. That would be a 1070cc with a 4 or 5 mm strokermgood for 220rwhp..and the sprayin the huge dry shot

Was he talking about his new bike? I talked to Rickey Grayson a couple days ago and that is where I got my info. I'll give Lee a call and see what he says.

Most likely running Two PC ,the second one controlling secondaries .
Definately needed to add sufficient fuel for such a BIG shot of N20.
All 8 injectors at full tilt are capable of suppling as much as 250-300 hp
with right amount of N20.
Done the same with my set-up but not as extreme as Lee's set-up.
225 hp is as high as i dare to go with stock slugs.

Awesome run!

25% bike.....75% skills. dont believe the ratings you hear in cycle world tests about the 1/4 ratings. they are avarage runs by avarage riders!!!. I learned dat along tyme ago when i ran 10.10's on a stock but jetted zx-6 in my early days. that was a nice run. (id love to see what kind of number he cut on the line that run!!).

Lee runs bigger bottle to keep bottle pressure more consistent during run. with smaller bottles the pressure will drop at end of run if you run as much nitrous as he does. i think its 5 lb bottle.

5lb is OK, a 10lb-er would be even better if you could find space for it.

...the only other way to keep the pressure consistent throughout the pass is to use nitrogen to "push" the liquid nitrous out of the bottle.

If you use a 1lb bottle on a itty-bitty 30 or 40-shot, it will still drop between 75-100psi by the time you get to the stripe. The bigger the shot, the more the pressure-drop. The bigger the bottle, the less the pressure-drop.

the run speaks for its self but! i really dont think that trick heads and cams mean that the bike is "basically stock" its not basic anymore! plus
you have Lees ability to launch it! now whats not mentioned is if theres any ceramic coated pistons to reduce heat and friction or shortened tranny or any other little things like airbox mods or thinner head gaskets or whatever! we may not ever know exactly whats inhis bike other than whats on that little list! are you guys that easily fooled.

ive talked to Lee and he`s doing my 02 1k soon so i know how his bikes perform but not whats in them and dont care

yea that bike is far from stock. i think its big bore 1070 motor and sure its got his topend work done to it and big shot of nitrous. wonder how much money it cost to replicate that? i would guess more than more would want to spend even buying a new bike.

Thats a $10,000 engine.I know,I have one.
dont waste your money at Lee's...Carpenter is the only way to go.Trust me.My $10,000 "100% streetable" engine lasted all of 1100 miles as it blew itself up cruising at 60mph with a crew of GDC members.Lee fixed it.Only cost me $2500 more. Now it needs another rebuild only 500 miles later.Junk.Fuckin junk:mad

25% bike.....75% skills.
and 100% reason to remember the name :lol

sorry but that bike is 70% motor, 29% suspension setup, 1% rider

all he is doing is taching 8k and throwing the clutch (lockup clutch), and then pushing a button to shift. you can even hook the air shifter up to the shift light. all the rider has to do is be along for the ride :biggrin

i dont know about 8k i spoke to Lee this morning and he said he leaves at 4,500 k but in the first 5 feet he tries to be at full throttle he said his 60 foot was like 1.43 but by the 8th he has gained considerable speed.
and by the 1/4 hes at peak speed he said he runs like 570`s in the 8th
and that was the first good time he got it to hook!

he says his 60 ft times are always not that good.
