Here's the situation: I've been out of the country for 3 months and left my 95 GSXR 750W with a friend to help me "bike sit". He switched the fuel cock to PRI and turns out that was really the last time he touched my bike. The other day I return to get my dusty bike: switched the cock to ON but the bike doesn't fire AT ALL. Please help me out, I'm not a big engine junky so I'd appreciate any help you guys can offer.

There is substantial fuel in it. Battery is ok - headlights work, plus I charged it overnight for good measure. Spark plugs are probably due for a change, but I've never had problems with it firing up before. (though sometimes but not often when it's quite cold, the bike fires but struggles to get started)

Is setting the cock to PRI (allows fuel to flow directly to carburetors) for 2.5 months the right move for him? I've never really used the PRI setting because even during off season, I generally start/warm up my bike every other week to keep the bike in startup shape.

What should my next move be?
I appreciate the help, thanks in advance.

I take it, its turning over and all.. Primary is basically free flow...
I'd turn it on, double check that when its turning over its actually flowing fuel out the tubes, if not, could be clogged filter in the tanks.
Next step would be plugs, you can just pull them, wire brush them, /scotchbrite pad. before replacing etc.. and use those to test.
then if that doesnt work, i'd remove float bowls and check clean them.. could be gummed up.. IF you have stock AIRBOX, crack that puppy open and check it FIRST.. little critters like to umm crawl on in there and nest.. dunno why but.. I had that happen, chewed through half the filter, build a full intake box sized nest... glad i looked before rupturing filter and sucking all that stuff through..

21/2 months in the prime position?
not good:nono
check(pull) your oil fill plug
does it smell like fuel?
Change your oil and install fresh plugs.
then try to crank
