Squeaking noise coming from front wheel

I have an 07 750 with almost 13000 miles and I keep hearing a squeaking noise coming from my front wheel. I only hear it when I'm pulling up to park or driving at slow speeds less than 5 MPH. It sounds like brakes but I'm not using my brakes when I hear it. Any ideas what it might be. Could my bearings be going out on me. Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated

Does the squeaking noise stop when you apply the front brakes?

Re: Squeaking noise coming from front wheel

Is it a squeek while you roll, when you go over an uneven surface, when you apply the brakes? There are a lot of things that can squeek but if it's quiet (i.e. you have to listen for it) then I wouldn't particularly worry about it.

If you are concerned, pulling the front wheel isn't that hard assuming you have the right equipment (stand for the front of the bike being the primary).

I know when I replaced my tires I lubed up the axle and front bearings again as they seemed to be getting a bit "dry" and I only had 8k on the clock when I did it.

My bike is doing the same thing. Came home from riding today and was pushing the bike into the garage and it squeals from the front as soon as i stop pushing it the squeal stops.

the front wheel bearings are sealed bearings. They are not designed to be regreased. You cant access the inside of the bearings to do so.

If the wheel bearings are what is causing it, replace them.

It can be brake related though. Even if you arent using them. Clean the calipers, clean the pistons, and make sure the backing plates and judder springs are in place properly. Squeal greese on the pads doesnt hurt either.

Pads can also cause it if they are glazzed and scrubbing on the rotor.
