GSXR 750 2007 bhp question?

i have seen this before on here but cannot find the thread.
I have taken a freinds 750 to have it dyno'd and being i have all my bikes done at the same place, i got a strange phone call from the guy who was doing the power runs and was saying it makes 115bhp and was wandering why? i have had 4 of the same bikes done there this being the 5th and all the others made 130+.
does anyone know why this may be?
all help would be appreciated..

Are you talking RWHP? If so, stock it is about 120 +/-

115 at the wheel is a little low, but not impossible. Alot of 750's make about 118-122 stock. 130+ is not accurate on a stock bike at the RW.That number is to high.

well i have a question then. I have an 06 750 with filter, vel stacks, bazzaz zfi, and trc slipon. I had mine dyon'd for free at a local event and it ran 124 at the rear wheel. Is that normal. was really hoping for the 130-35.

Re: GSXR 750 2007 bhp question?

well i have modified many of these bikes with the first one running a yoshi R55 full system K&N filter dynojet pc3usb and ignition module and made 130.7 rear wheel bhp.another the same but full akrapovic evolution system and made 133.8 on the same dyno. this one is running a mtc slip on and has a pc3 usb and ignition module. and runs 115 on the same dyno.. Bob Farnham is doing the tuning work and he's a legend over here and trust his dyno unlike most which run exagerated numbers as another freind over here had his done somewhere else and with a mtc slip on, pc3 reckons it made 138 rear wheel horse power.. yer right!!!
i'm not a dreamer and would never come on any website and boast silly figures i am here to help and learn at the same time.
there was an old post with someone with the same problem.. maybe some of the states in the USA have stiffer emmisions regulations and thats why maybe is down on power. i dont know if the bike is an import but maybe someone on here will know if thats true?
