It's been sometime since I first posted this thread, but I'm finally on my way to order it from my local dealer on thursday. Will keep everyone posted.

Re: RapidBike

It's finally here. I spent maybe 15-20 minutes hooking up the wiring harness. All I have left is to connect a wire to the TPS, but I'll end up removing the air box for that this weekend.

After being rather fickle in making my decision about this product vs. the competition, I have discussed RapidBike with other users that had nothing but good things to say rather than just the USA rep and dealer I've communicated with. I ended up getting it cheaper than what a PCV + dyno would cost and it comes with greater capability. Aside from that, customer support was another driving factor. This is the EVO unit of course. If this product turns out the way I hope it will, I see myself picking up a race module in the future when I become fast enough to be competitive. Until then, the capabilities the race module would just be a waste

Re: RapidBike

Wow how much is it to get your bike dynoed in your area?Looking on their website the base evo package is $600.PCV+Custom tune isnt much more than that(Really good tuners in CA charge about $350 for a tune). But whatever works for you,let me know how it goes.

Re: RapidBike

I bought the EVO at 20% off. I fully intend to provide as much information about it as possible

Re: RapidBike

After riding around my neighborhood, I've already experienced a noticeable difference in low to mid range power delivery. I really look forward to heading out to the track on May 6 and seeing what the good ol' butt dyno finds.

Re: RapidBike

Update after first track day use!

Compared to the flash tune that was on the ECU to after I ran some hotter laps, the throttle response was greatly improved as well as power delivery. The differences are very noticeable. Even just accelerating at full throttle feels like a much more powerful bike. Full throttle was fun before, now I'm apprehensive to give it that much The bike runs like a top and I'm very pleased with the product. I would imagine that the Race module would be even more effective since it uses a wide band O2 sensor. All of the changes it has imposed on the ECU are positive, it will just some time for me to adapt to the additional performance.
