Left over parts. Frame swap.

I am on the tail end of doing a frame swap on a K4 600.

While I was wrestling the engine out of old frame, I had 2 small parts fall off from what seemed like the left side.

Now that I have installed the front end, swing arm, engine and tail onto the new frame... I still have these 2 parts left.

I have scoured and scoured the manual; looked at all the diagrams in order to find out what they are and where they go.

At first I thought the spacer was an engine spacer.

But having just installed the engine 20 mins ago.... I dont believe so.

The washer... I have no clue.

Any help is appreciated.

Re: Left over parts. Frame swap.

Looks like it was from one of the upper motor mounts

Re: Left over parts. Frame swap.

Thats what I thought for the spacer. Front left motor mount.

But I just installed the engine and all the mounts are snug.

Re: Left over parts. Frame swap.

The steering stem was missing the adjustment washer when I purchased the bike.

Even though the PO had the steering stem bearings replaced.

Looking at the pic of the washer it looks like there may of been a tab on the inside of it that snapped off?

Maybe this was the adjustment washer that was missing? Fell down into engine area and only fell out while I was tinkering?

Ill keep looking but sounds good to me.

See if the washer will sit ontop of the steering stem nut,if the ID is the same thats probably what it is.

Re: Left over parts. Frame swap.

Definitely was the old washer. Went down and compared to new one; exact size and the spot that looks llike broken tab is also same size.

I triple checked all engine mounts and spacer doesnt seem to belong there.

Hmm
