Central Florida, Jennings, PBIR?

I just had my first track day up at JenningsGP and it was a pretty good experience. Keep in mind that it was the Novice class and not an open track day so it wasn't horribly crowded like I hear some track days can get. That said, I'm hoping like hell to have a bike ready for late February @PBIR. How many people are doing trackdays down here?
Bear in mind I'm not a squid, in my 20s (or 30s or 40s for that matter) or interested in "stunting" and that probably makes me boring AF, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to start spending more time on the track than on the street. At least with the sportbikes.

Had a buddy who used to race out at Jennings. My brother-in-law wants to take his 2012 1000 out there. I'm not ready for all that but I'd like to go check it out.

I'm prepping my bike for my first track day out at Jennings tomorrow! I can't wait. Got any tips that you would do differently knowing what you know now?

Re: Central Florida, Jennings, PBIR?

Sorry I missed your post, I hope your track day went well. My advice would have been to stay focused, don't panic and have fun. I went off the track twice, the second time I was going pretty fast at turn 11 and fixated on another rider that was going much faster than me. I almost went to the fence but I did NOT go down. My wife happened to be there and caught some pics (she thought I did it on purpose, lol).

What were you riding? I ended up having to rent a bike since mine wasn't ready. They put me on an R1 with slicks and it was so much stickier than I've ever experienced. Hoping I'll be ready again in May ($ and bike permitting).
