Well, absolutely, as long as it didnt compromise my morals. But are you referring to this racer? If I remember correctly he was not sponsored by them and only began to use them once he was done with racing and just ran trackdays. Anyways, Ill be sure to do my research on warmers as well IF i need to get some.

You can probably still use the 2cts. Keep it cheap and easy while you can. You'd be amazed how much shit some of us have to drag to the track every time.

The power pures are a step from the PP 2cts, on the track or street. The power one B is a step up from the power pures. You will be fine on a set
of power pures. They are awesome tires in the wet/cold/street/track whatever.

I had a rear tire warmer fail and burn a hole in the side of the rear tire !!!! Nothing like seeing smoke coming from your tire warmers
and have to rip the rear warmer off and stomp out the flames right before
your session on the track. I would buy a set of Moto D warmers
in a heart beat. I have ridden with Scotty(owner of Moto D) on the street and track many times. Good dude for sure. Those will be my next warmers
for sure.

Actually I have to run a Win7 VM in Fusion because some of my company's portals only work with IE, no Firefox or Safari support.

That's so shitty... I gotta build my shit to support all browsers, including IE back to 7, which is a fuckin nightmare. IE's compatibility with standards is so bad. So bad.

Good to know about the Moto-D's!

STG prices:
Pilot Power= $240
Bridgestone Battlax 003rs= $215 a set
Dunlop Sportmax Q2 Z rated= $245 a set

Power Pures= $270 a set
Diablo SuperCorsa SP= $410 a set

Power One 2ct= $340 a set
Pirelli Superbike slick= $305 a set

Diablo Super Corsa SC= $345 a set
Dunlop GP-A= $?? a set
Pirelli Superbike Pro slick (red stripe)= $365 a set

Are those correctly listed in terms of performance from least to greatest (and street to race)?

So considering those prices, the feedback about where I am skill-wise, and what I have read, I am either going with the Power Pures, Power One 2ct, Pirelli SC, or the Pirelli Superbike slick. Still want to read some more reviews, but it seems that is the group I would benefit most from as far as bang for your buck.

Found it interesting the SC was less than the SP and the Superbike slick was cheaper than both the SC, SP, AND Power 2ct.

You can only buy the Dunlop race tires (new) from Dunlop or a trackday provider that sells Dunlop (which is becoming more common finally)

If you sign up for CSS you can get a set of GPA's for $360 from them.

Re: Northeast Trackwhores: 7 month thread v3

You can get the old 190/55 GPAs cheaper from Dunlop.

3 years ago, buying tires from CSS was a great deal, though.

Id check those prices. They seem off. Check the sizes to be sure you are looking at those right (makes a huge difference sometimes)

I like it too.

I really like the rims, I would love to find a set of them and have them powder coated dark gray.
