That motorcycle was probably flying down the freeway. That bike is a suzuki GSXR 1000 cc racing/bullet bike. I have a similar bike, they all have two huge 17" rotors and brakes on just the front wheel and the back tire has a very strong brake as well (depending on the traction of the tire). The brakes on these alone are strong enough to stop the front wheel dead at very high speeds. I also agree that the broken window is pretty irrelavent compared to the front end that was separated from the bike?? This is a risk you assume when you buy a bullet bike. I hope this man's family is ok. I love my motorcycle, but I wouldn't own a 1000 at 40 years old especially if I had children and a wife to support. And even if I did own one, I wouldn't drive it fast enough to rip the front end off... best wishes to the loved ones of the driver.
This guy must be an expert rider of racing/bullet bikes. It's good he has a similar one. I wonder where he got his 17" rotors?
