It is mostly gonna be different for each person on how things fit. Go to a shop and try stuff on. Also something to think about is if you will ever want to zip pants to the jacket to make a 2-piece suit

I doubt you can go wrong with any of those jackets and I'm pretty sure they'll zip up with A Star pants if you choose to get a pair later on.

I say buy this Scorpion SJ2 for $110!!!! Scorpion SJ2 Leather Jacket - Sportbike Track Gear
I bought it a month ago for $160.

For street riding this is a very high quality, comfortable, and protective leather jacket.

You cannot beat the price.

I have a Celer jacket I paired with A-Star track pants. It's a nice fitting jacket and has great protection . Ventilation is good too. I also have an Atem one piece , the jacket portion is notches above the Celer . Also very comfortable and ventilation is good too.

A-Stars makes nice gear I'm sure you'd be happy with any of those jackets. I have the Jaws, been wearing it for the past few years and it's held up great - comfy and vents well.

I recommend purchasing the optional bionic chest pads and back protector to up the safety level.

Re: Need advice on Jackets

If you're just wearing a jacket without leather pants then they will all do.pretty much the same thing in a crash. As far as comfort and features most of us have no idea. Your best bet is to read the reviews on each jacket.

Re: Need advice on Jackets

So I have to ask something , I am driving more in Street than in Track , and I think Leather jacket would be very hard to use in Hot summer even GP tech with is maximum Ventilation of air yes? or if I will buy GP tech its have so good ventilation then I can use it in Street when there is 35 - 38celsius on the street ? and another question GP tech and Atem have a lot of ventilation it would not be cold in winters ?

Re: Need advice on Jackets

If it's too hot to wear your gear then it's too hot to ride. A good perforated leather jacket in the summer isn't that bad while you're moving and also keeps the sun off your skin.

For winter - the removable inner vest that comes with it helps a bit. The jacket should fit as snug as possible without restricting movement to keep the armor in place. You will only be able to fit thin base-layers underneath so depending on how cold it is you might want an alternate winter weather jacket.

I'm a fan of quality textile jackets , leather jackets are harder work to keep clean and care for ... Imo they are better bang for your bucks too !!!
