How do sport bike rev limiters work?
Hitting the rev limiter in my car (and my ninja 250 actually) is a fairly unpleasant experience as I believe the car simply cuts the ignition which results in the car temporarily losing power and then immediately engine braking. These two fight back and forth and it's a very jerky sensation to say the least (google says it can even lock the wheels under certain circumstances)
i assume sport bike rev limiters don't work the same way since this would could instigate a crash. so how do they work? just a soft limiter where power isn't cut but the bike wont rev any higher?
