I'd love to go on one of their courses, it's not even that bad price wise (around £350/day), but they aren't near us and I'd need a one-piece leather too.
I'm a coach with the Superbike School and I'm happy to answer any questions about the school and curriculum etc if you have any. As for riding to the track, we have lots of students that do ride to and from the track though good to note that it is a long day and you may be tired at the end so be aware of that. It's often easier and much less hassle to rent a bike there as you then don't have to worry about tires, gas, bike maintenance OR something happening to your bike. Crashes can happen but are rarer at the school because all coaches and corner workers are on the look out for any on-track riding mistakes or non-compliance with any of the rules and will pull students in and keep track of all issues. Our first priority is keeping everyone on track as safe as possible. That being said, if you do crash then the bike and gear is looked at and you are only charged for what is broken and needs to be replaced up to the full amount of the deductible....so technically you could smash the bike up completely and only pay whatever the max deductible is (and I'm not sure exactly what that amount is...)
Hope that helps and feel free to ask more questions if you have any!
