I recently purchased and M4 street slayer full system from corey (motomummy)
It wasnt the easiest of pipes to install i have to carry out a few modifications. to the header pipes to make them fit ANYWAY.
Question..... The piping came with an bung/hole for oxygen sensor. It did not actually come with a plug to close it up so i can run the power commander. Does anyone know where i can get this?
How is it running without a fuel controller? There are 2 guys on here that have put on full systems w/o fuel controllers and their bike runs great. One guy even posted a sheet of his afr ratio and it didn't look bad at all.
I have the same system but took the baffles out; I like it loud. Sounds mean as hell.
To be honest the bike is running absouloutly fine, no back fires or flat spots or anything. Im actually hesitant in putting the power commander in cause... Im not sure how good the "pre tuned"map motomummy put on is - regardless im going to put it in and get it properly dyno tuned and pump out some serious HP.
Still need to put in a sports filter. But i want to get a few more accesories first, some braided lines and lever and rear sets.
Question to the people that have the full system. How was the collectors numbered as mine are only numbered on the header tubes themselves. I want to make sure that I place them in the right position. Thank you
What we did.. My friend (Mechanic) and I, we held the mid pipe upright and put in number 1 and 2 at the top followed by 3 and 4 at the bottom.. hope that helps..
Figured it out last night not to bad. But the header pipes are not identical, the two inner header pipes have different bends to them as well as the outer two.
You should have four headers numbered left to right. They go in a specific place.
two identical two pipe collectors usually
one more four way collector
One mid pipe going to can.
Went drag racing for the second time yesterday. Ran a 10.44 @ 141mph and a 1.9 60ft. Couldnt keep the bike down in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Tried very hard to get it to a low 10
To all that installed the street slayer on there own, I have a question. Im doing mine tomorrow and I was wondering if Anybody had problems with the room between the radiator and header pipes or did you remove the radiator completely. Im scared to damage the radiator if i Just move it forward. So if you can shed some advice on what you did. Thanks.
Personally I drained and removed the radiator - Makes fitment of the headers much easier. Just the additional cost of coolant to refill, but negligible for the easier life I think
I used Motul Factory line coolant to refill as I was unable to source the blue suzuki stuff that came in the
bike - Just be sure to flush out all the old coolant so as not to mix potentially different types of coolant.
Either a very optimistic dyno, or different way of measuring... Over here in the US those mods would net you about 175rwhp. To get above 185rwhp, you need to do cams and headwork.
hey guys I have a question i currently have a 2013 gsxr 1000 and i was wondering if the 2011 gsxr 1000 m4 street slayer will fit . I dnt like how the 2013 m4 gp looks smh gay ass hell lookd like a trumpet help please
