Re: Numb hands/forearms - need advice
In general I'd say there is an underlying problem for people who's hands / forearms are going numb. There are a couple of things you can look into depending on your symptoms.
Ever wake up with weak / numb hands or arms? Do they go numb while on the phone or perhaps while resting your arm on a flat surface (counter top, desk, rolled down car window)?
These are all signs of thoracic outlet syndrome, carpel tunnel, ulnar nerve entrapment, or medial nerve damage - possibly a combination of more than one.
If left untreated it can cause permanent damage to those nerves. You may want to get checked out by your doctor if symptoms persist.
