I like that a lot. I agree with you it looks like it has a Camaro influence, but still a badass looking car.

Re: 2014 Vette

I like it. Looks like Chevy is trying to put that rear end on everything now as evidenced by the new Malibu. I've always been a Vette fan though so I'm a bit biased.

Re: 2014 Vette

Overall I like it.

Why does it have chrome braces? I guess you could black that out, then it would be better

Just saw this today. Looks much better than i expected, cant wait to try one out.

Love the stingray logo too and the interior seems like it took a huge step forward from the c6.

Same with the interior. Remeber when Chevy used to have different looks for each of the cars? Now a Malibu looks like a corvette which looks like a Silverado.

Normally I hate Vette's but this one looks like they got it right. I wonder what the performance #'s will be?

On first view, the makeover wrought by Corvette chief engineer Tadge Juechter and team appears evolutionary. Yet every piece of the car has either been re-engineered or updated, from the new all-aluminum frame to the sharper, “shrink-wrapped” exterior to the 6.2-liter, 450-hp, 450 lb.-ft. V-8. That engine can now be paired to an optional Tremec 7-speed manual, a GM first, that will automatically match the engine’s RPMs to the anticipated gear in all shifts.
this is off the link i posted

you would think since this is a drivers oriented car, they would have went to a driver focused cockpit years ago. toyota did it back in the late 90's with their supra.

Re: 2014 Vette

55+ yr old retirees did not buy Corvette's as a "driver's car," they bought it as a retirement present and frankly, were the main demographic that could afford a new one.

Now Chevy is looking at getting younger buyers into Corvette, so the change to a "driver's car-like interior", I agree the interior needed to be updated for a very long time though.
