New Year's Resolution ?!

.
Do you make them ? If so what is yours for this year ?

Or do you not even worry about it because you never keep them ?

.

Re: New Year's Resolution ?!

"Spend more time on 2 wheels than 4."

"Run/bicycle 16 miles per week."

I figure running/riding from my house to the PT field in the morning will about cover me.

Re: New Year's Resolution ?!

You should make a resolution to stop changing the default text color!!!

There are different color schemes that different people use - default color adjusts automatically to whatever scheme a person is using (black text on the light schemes, white on the dark ones) but as soon as you change it, it doesn't auto adjust. What you used here is hard to read on one of the dark schemes for example.

So stop doing that, it doesn't make you stand out positively - it just annoys people

Also, moving this to Anything Goes instead of General Bike Talk.

I tried to tell him but was accused of picking on him

Maybe they will listen to you.

I don't do resolutions but I plan to get back down to race weight shortly

It's not picking on anyone - I'm trying to help him improve his image. Making posts hard to read for half the users isn't good for business

Re: New Year's Resolution ?!

Giving all your own threads 5 stars as you make them comes across as kinda silly too

And I don't do resolutions either. They never stick. If I'm going to make a life change, why wait for new years? Just get to it

As for giving your own threads 5 stars right off the bat - that's just an invitation for people to give it 1 star for the hell of it - so just damn leave it alone

...I can't laugh at a person for being impressed with themselves. I'm so awesome it'd be hypocrisy.

Re: New Year's Resolution ?!

Don't think I've ever made a NYE resolution. If something needs to get done I get started right away......or I procrastinate, depends on my mood that day.
